Bonding Before Birth
Take the time to connect with your baby before birth.
Pregnancy is a time of transformation, not only for your body but also for the relationships you're building with your baby and each other.
Inspired by the European practice of haptonomy, our prenatal bonding sessions offer a gentle, nurturing space to connect physically and emotionally with your baby through mindful touch, presence, and intentional communication.

Amélie joins Dr. Stephanie Waggel, MD, MS, PMH-C, of Improve Life PLLC to discuss haptonomy, a French approach to connecting with your baby before birth.
The Philosophy Behind the Practice
In Sanskrit, Yoni means “womb,” while Bandha means “lock” or “bond.” Together, they reflect the philosophy behind Yoni Bandha: nurturing meaningful relationships from the very beginning.
Drawing inspiration from haptonomy, these private sessions blend mindful touch, guided meditation, and open conversation to help you and your partner prepare for the emotional journey of welcoming a child.
Whether this is your first pregnancy or your third, the experience offers dedicated time to slow down, explore your feelings, and focus on your growing family.
